Romanian Special Interest Group in HCI
RoCHI is intended to serve as an inter-disciplinary forum for the exchange of ideas and experience in the field of human-computer interaction (HCI) by bringing together people working on the design, evaluation, implementation, and study of interactive systems.
RoCHI started in 2000 as a provisional interest group and has been chartered as a local chapter of ACM SIGCHI in Romania on June 7, 2001.
Events
ROCHI 2025 Conference. Each year the ROCHI Interest Group organizes the ROCHI International Conference. In 2024 the conference changes the name to ICUSI – International Conference on User-System Interaction.
ICUSI – International Conference on User-System Interaction. The last ICUSI 2025 Conference was in Iași, at “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University (Romania), 18-19 September 2025.
The next ICUSI 2026 Conference will be organized in Suceava, by “Ștefan cel Mare” University.
INTERACT Conference, is the flagship conference of the IFIP TC13 committee. The INTERACT 2025 Conference was in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil, 8-12 September 2025. The next edition of the INTERACT 2027 Conference will be in Tallin (Estonia), 23-27 August 2027.

The papers presented at the ICUSI Conferences are published in the ICUSI Conference Proceedings, ISSN 3061-3205.
The papers presented at the previous ROCHI Conferences are available in the RoCHI Conference Proceedings, ISSN 2501-9422.
Both conferences submitted for listing to DBLP and other international databases.
Journals
Selected papers at ICUSI conferences are published as extended versions in International Journal of User-System Interaction, ISSN 2668-3245.
